Ipod Touch 32Gb - More Than A Toy
Author: mocowiziPod touch 32GB User Reviews...
I mainly chose iPod touch 32GB as a multi-purpose alternative to Kindle or Nook, and so far am really happy with my decision. I haven't tested in daylight, however. I have downloaded ebooks for both Kindle and B&N e-readers, and I enjoy both -- couldn't say one was better than the other with any authority. The screen on this iPod touch 32GB is amazing, the sound is good.
The few apps I've downloaded have been helpful and affordable. I'm sure I will enjoy this for years to come. However the earbuds included, aside having a built-in remote, are the most uncomfortable things known to man -- be sure to budget for something to replace them.
Amazon had the best price on this when I was ready to buy. $30 less than the Apple Store, and no sales tax or shipping. Shipping was seamless and I received the next day.

It's everything I expected. There are some minor things that I dislike. I'm a little disappointed that there aren't many free apps that I enjoy. I think the app store could be organized a lot better than it currently is.
Being able to use Pandora with Safari open at the same time would be nice.
A camera would make this really good, especially since I have a Samsung Juke for a phone which has a minuscule screen!
It has worked well with the wifi at a local coffee place, at home and in one of the buildings on campus. The wireless doesn't work in other buildings on campus despite the fact that it says it is connected to the network.
The chrome back scratches easily if that matters to you. I bought a Speck candyshell case and that seems to protect it pretty well.
I wish there were some sort of button I could use to advance through songs I don't like without having to look at the iPod while it's in my pocket and I'm walking somewhere.
The only other complaint I have is that the battery seems to drain pretty fast when using the wifi.
Otherwise, I really like my iPod touch 32GB. The touch controls for zooming and copy/paste are easier to use than I thought they would be. I like the spell correcting feature for when I'm writing notes or in my LiveJournal. It is a good time killer between classes.
I prefer using the Weather Channel and Facebook apps to the actual websites most of the time. I was surprised that I could view PDF documents on it too!
